Therefore, there may be times when the headphones you have directly connected to your Walkman cannot produce the sound you are looking for. However, by using a headphone amplifier in tandem with your Walkman, you can unleash the full potential of your headphones. This allows you to enjoy the sound qualities of a particular pair of headphones. Moreover, by using a headphone amplifier, you can enjoy the warm sound quality that analog amplifiers impart on the music and thus attain a broader range of musical enjoyment.

Connection/operating procedures

Set the input select switch on the rear of the headphone amplifier to the Walkman connection jack position (second from the left).

Connect your Walkman to the headphone amplifier using the Walkman digital output cable supplied with the headphone amplifier.

Refer to the instruction manual for the headphone amplifier.

Turn on the headphone amplifier.

Turn down the amplifier volume all the way.

Connect the headphones to the headphone jack of the headphone amplifier.

On the Home screen, tap - [Settings] - [Sound] - [Volume], and turn up the volume to maximum for [Music, video, games, & other media].

Play a music file on your Walkman.

Adjust the volume on the headphone amplifier.

Enjoy sound unique to playback with headphones.
