Re-recording

If you hear a lot of noise or see the stylus skipping while recording a vinyl record and want to start the recording all over again, follow the steps below.

  1. Click the (Pause Recording) button on the Record Mode window of Hi-Res Audio Recorder.
    The recording pauses.
  2. Stop playing the vinyl record on the turntable.
    For detailed instructions on stopping the playback, refer to the Operating Instructions supplied with the turntable.
  3. Click [File] - [New] on the menu bar at the top of the window.
    The message “Are you sure you want to record newly? All unsaved data will be discarded.” appears.
  4. Click [OK].

    The temporary file is cleared and the Record Mode window resumes its initial state.

    Then, follow the steps in “Step 3. Playing a Vinyl Record and Recording Audio Tracks with Hi-Res Audio Recorder ” to start the re-recording.
