When listening with headphones
You can only select this sound field if headphones are connected to the receiver.
- Headphone(2ch) (HP 2CH):
- This mode is selected automatically if you use headphones (except when [Analog Direct] is selected). Standard 2-channel stereo sources completely bypass the sound field processing and multi-channel surround formats are downmixed to 2 channels except LFE signals.
- Headphone(Direct) (HP DIRECT):
- This mode is selected automatically if you use headphones when [Analog Direct] is selected.
This mode outputs analog signals without processing by the equalizer, sound field, etc.
