Selecting the speaker pattern and setting the assignment for the speaker terminals (Speaker Pattern/Sur Back SP Assign)
You can select the speaker pattern and set the assignment for the SPEAKERS SURROUND BACK/BI-AMP/FRONT HIGH/FRONT B terminals.
- Select [Setup] - [Speaker Settings] from the home menu.
- Select [Speaker Pattern].
- Select the desired speaker pattern according to the speaker installation example displayed on the TV screen, then select [Save].
- Set [Sur Back SP Assign] to any of the following settings (*).
- Zone2 (for STR-DN1060 only)
When using the Zone 2 connection.
- Bi-Amp
When using the bi-amplifier connection.
- Front B
When using the front B speaker connection.
- Off
When none of the connections above are used.
* The displayed settings vary depending on the speaker pattern you selected in step 3.
- Zone2 (for STR-DN1060 only)
Note
- You can only set [Sur Back SP Assign] under the following conditions:
- The speaker pattern is set to a setting without surround back and front high speakers.
- Headphones are not connected.
- [Bluetooth Mode] is set to other than [Transmitter].
