Deleting a file
You can select a file and delete it.
Note
- Once a file has been deleted, you cannot retrieve it.
- Select the file you want to delete when the IC recorder is in the recording stop, playback stop, or playback mode.
- Select OPTION - “Delete a File,” and then press
.
“Delete?” appears and the specified file is played back for confirmation.

to select “Yes.”
- Press .
“Please Wait” appears in the display window and the selected file will be deleted.
Note
- You cannot delete a protected file. To delete the file, release the protection first, and then delete the file.
Hint
- To cancel deleting, select “No” in step 3, and then press .
- In the file list, you can also delete a file by moving the cursor to the file you want to delete, and selecting OPTION - “Delete a File.”
- To delete a part of a file, divide the file into two files first, and then proceed with steps 2 through 4.
