Reducing noise when recording (Recording Filter)
You can record with less noise in the recorded sound by using the “Recording Filter” function.
- Select BACK/HOME - “ Settings” - “Recording Settings” - “Recording Filter,” and then press .
- Press or to select “NCF(Noise Cut)” or “LCF(Low Cut),” and then press .
- Press and hold BACK/HOME to return to the HOME menu.
Descriptions of menu items
You can select one of the menu items available.
- OFF:
- Cancels the recording filter function.
- NCF(Noise Cut):
- In addition to low frequency sounds, the IC recorder cuts the noise of high frequency sounds outside the normal audio range.
(Initial setting)
- LCF(Low Cut):
- The IC recorder cuts low frequency noise such as projector machine sound or roaring noise from the wind, etc.
Note
- If you set “Recording Filter” when “Scene Select” is set to other than “OFF,” the “Scene Select” setting will be canceled.
Hint
- Select “OFF” in step 2 to cancel the recording filter function.
