Resetting all menu items to the default setting (Reset All Settings)
You can re-set all menu items to the default setting.
However, the following menu items cannot be initialized.
- Alarm
- Protect
- Date&Time
- In the recording stop or playback stop mode, select BACK/HOME - “
Settings” - “Common Settings” - “Reset All Settings,” and then press 
.
“Default Value?” appears on the display.

to select “Yes,” and then press .
The “Please Wait” animation appears and the menu items will be re-set to the default setting. - Press and hold BACK/HOME to return to the HOME menu.
Hint
- To cancel the operation, select “No” in step 2.
