Formatting the memory (Format)

You can format the built-in memory, deleting all the data in the memory and resetting the folder structure to its default status.
  1. In the recording stop or playback stop mode, select BACK/HOME - “ Settings” - “Common Settings” - “Format,” and then press .

    “Delete All Data?” appears.

  2. Press or to select “Yes,” and then press .
    The “Please Wait” animation appears and the built-in memory will be formatted.
  3. Press and hold BACK/HOME to return to the HOME menu.

Note

  • If you format the built-in memory, all data stored there will be deleted. (Protected files and the Sound Organizer software will also be deleted.) Note that once the files are deleted, you cannot retrieve them.

Hint

  • To cancel formatting the built-in memory, select “No” in step 2.
