AF On
You can focus using any button instead of pressing the shutter button halfway down. The settings for [Focus Mode] will be applied.

Select the desired key and assign the [AF On] function to it using MENU →
(Custom Settings) → [Custom Key(Shoot.)].
- Press the key to which you have assigned the [AF On] function while auto-focus shooting.
Hint
- Set [
AF w/ shutter] and [Pre-AF] to [Off] to focus at a specific shooting distance predicting the position of the subject.
