Parts and Controls on the Sides

Describes the features on the sides of the VAIO computer, such as connection ports.
  1. Monitor port [Details]

Open the LCD display more than 90 degrees to lift up the rear of your VAIO computer before connecting a display cable to the monitor port. If the LCD display is not opened enough, the display cable connector will lift up one side of your VAIO computer and make it unstable.

Depending on the security cable you use, connecting the cable to the security slot may lift the left side of your computer. Use the appropriate security cable.
