Using “TV SideView”

The [TV SideView] app is an application that works with selected Sony home devices such as BRAVIA TVs, Blu-ray Disc(TM) Players, and Blu-ray Disc(TM) home theater Systems, Google TV from Sony.
With it, you can operate devices easily and enjoy your TV more by displaying on tablet content related to TV programs and content.

  • Enjoy TV more

    You can get details on the program you are watching on TV or disc and see what people are saying about it on social network sites.

  • Easily find content across various services or devices

    You can search from TV programs and your home network (DLNA) as well as from services such as Video Unlimited, Music Unlimited, YouTube, Netflix, from websites, applications and recorded programs on BRAVIA TVs.

  • Send messages

    Make comments on social network sites about what you are watching.

  • Operate as a remote control

  • Tap buttons on the screen to make operations like with an actual remote control.

  • Enter text to home devices using the full QWERTY touch-screen keyboard.

  • Freely move the cursor where you want when the browser is displayed.

  • To see details on how to use the [TV SideView] app, tap (Option menu) - [Help].

Note

  • “TV SideView” will work only if your tablet and your home device are connected to the same wireless network.

  • Some functions and services may not be supported by certain home devices.

  • This app may not be useable in certain regions/countries.
