Turning on Your VAIO Computer

Plug your VAIO computer into an AC outlet. [Details]

Press and hold down the power button until the power indicator light turns on in green.
Your VAIO computer is turned on, and Windows starts after a while.
Note

If you press and hold down the power button for more than four seconds, your VAIO computer will not turn on.
Press the power button lightly, and release it immediately when the power indicator light turns on.
Hint

After a certain period of inactivity, your VAIO computer automatically enters power saving mode, in which the LCD screen is off and the power indicator light blinks in orange slowly.

If the orange DISPLAY OFF indicator light is on, nothing will be displayed on the LCD screen. Press the DISPLAY OFF button.
