Inserting/Removing a Disc
<Optical disc drive equipped models>
Insert/remove a disc to/from your VAIO computer that is turned on.
To insert a disc

Press the drive eject button.
The drive tray slides out.

Hold the back of the drive tray with one hand, place a disc in the middle of the drive tray, and gently push it toward the drive tray until the disc clicks into place.
Place the disc with the label side facing toward you.
When you play a double-sided disc, face the side you want to play toward the drive tray and place it on the drive tray.

If the disc is not properly placed when you close the drive tray, it may become unable to open.

Do not exert pressure on the drive tray.

Close the drive tray by pushing it in gently.
Do not exert pressure on the open drive tray. Be sure to hold the back of the drive tray when inserting or removing a disc so that pressure is not exerted on the drive tray.
To remove a disc
Make sure the orange disc drive indicator light is not on before pressing the drive eject button.

Do not exert pressure on the drive tray when removing a disc.
