Connecting External Speakers/Headphones/Headset

To connect external speakers or headphones

1. Connect a speaker cable (not supplied) for external speakers or headphones to the headphones jack [Details] or the headset compatible headphones jack . [Details]

• Turn down the volume of the speakers before turning them on.

• Refer to the manual that came with your speakers or headphones.

To connect a headset

You can connect a Sony smartphone compatible headset to the headset compatible headphones jack to make an Internet call and use voice chat.

• Your headset may not be compatible with your VAIO computer.

• An external microphone does not work even if you connect it to the headset compatible headphones jack .

• If your VAIO computer is equipped with the headphones jack , you cannot use the headset.
