Using bookmarks

Adding a song to a bookmark list

You can add favorite songs to bookmark lists for easy playback.

Adding a song to a bookmark list

You can add the currently playing song to a bookmark list. You can also select a song from a song list to add it to a bookmark list.
Note

  • You can add up to 100 songs to each bookmark list.

    •

  • You cannot add recorded files, videos, or podcast episodes to a bookmark list.

    •

To add the currently playing song

  1. From the music playback screen, press and hold the button.

The song is added to the default bookmark list. For how to change the default bookmark list, see [Details].
or,

  1. From the music playback screen, press the OPTION/PWR OFF button to bring up the option menu.

  1. Select [Add to Bookmark] desired bookmark list.

To select a song from a song list to add to a bookmark list

  1. From a song list screen, press the / button to select a song.

  1. Press and hold the button.

The selected song is added to the default bookmark list. For how to change the default bookmark list, see [Details].
or,

  1. From a song list screen, press the / button to select a song.

  1. Press the OPTION/PWR OFF button to bring up the option menu.

  1. Select [Add to Bookmark] desired bookmark list.

Playing songs in a bookmark list

  1. From the Home menu, select [Music] [Bookmark] desired bookmark list desired song.

Note

  • While playing a song selected from a bookmark list, playback will pause if you carry out an alternation to the playing bookmark list such as adding a song, removing a song or rearrange songs.

Removing a song from a bookmark list

  1. From the Home menu, select [Music] [Bookmark] desired bookmark list desired song.

  1. Press the OPTION/PWR OFF button to bring up the option menu.

  1. Select [Remove from Bookmark].

or,

  1. From the Home menu, select [Music] [Bookmark] desired bookmark list.

  1. Press the / button to select a song.

  1. Press the OPTION/PWR OFF button to bring up the option menu.

  1. Select [Remove from Bookmark].

Removing all songs from a bookmark list

  1. From the Home menu, select [Music] [Bookmark].

  1. Press the / button to select a bookmark list.

  1. Press the OPTION/PWR OFF button to bring up the option menu.

  1. Select [Clear Bookmark List] [Yes].

Rearranging songs in a bookmark list

  1. From the Home menu, select [Music] [Bookmark] desired bookmark list.

  1. Press the OPTION/PWR OFF button to bring up the option menu.

  1. Select [Edit Song Order].

A right arrow appears to the left of a song name.

  1. Press the / button to select a song, then press the button.

A double-headed arrow appears to the left of the selected song.

  1. Press the / button to move the song to the desired location.

  1. Press the button to fix the location for the song.

  1. Repeat step 4 to 6 to rearrange all songs you want.

  1. After completing, press the BACK/HOME button to return to the bookmark list screen.
