Using USB connection mode
When connecting to a computer via USB, some computers may fail to establish a USB connection to your Walkman, causing it not to display [Connected USB (Storage in use: system storage)] or [Connected USB (Storage in use: SD card)].
In such a case, before connecting, display the USB connection standby screen to allow your Walkman to focus on establishing a USB connection with more reliability.
- From the Home menu, select
[Settings]. - Select [Common Settings] - [USB Connection Mode] - [Yes].
Your Walkman enters USB connection standby mode, displaying the USB connection standby screen. After connecting to a computer via USB, [Connected USB (Storage in use: system storage)] or [Connected USB (Storage in use: SD card)] appears.
