Exchanging data with a computer connected by USB
You can exchange data between your Walkman and a computer connected using USB by dragging and dropping.
- Use the supplied USB cable to connect your Walkman to a computer.
Your Walkman will be recognized by the computer, and you will be able to drag and drop data.
Drag and drop music data to the “Music” folder, video data to the “Video” folder, and photo data to the “Picture” or “DCIM” folder.
Note
- Content may not be played back if you change the name of folders such as “Music,” “Video,” “Picture” and “DCIM.”
Hint
- Music, video and picture files in data hierarchy levels 1 to 8 can be played.
