Cannot switch from the headphones to the built-in speaker (or from the built-in speaker to the headphones).

  • If your Walkman does not switch correctly from the headphones to the built-in speaker (or vice versa) in cases like the following, try resetting the Walkman to fix the problem.
    • The headphone plug was removed during playback, but there is no sound from the speaker.
    • There is no sound from the headphones even though the headphone plug is inserted, but sound can be heard from the speaker.
    • There is no sound from either the speaker or headphones after the headphones are connected.
    • Sound is also heard from the speaker when the headphones are connected.
