Beauty Effect Mode
This mode enables the camera to detect the faces of your subjects and adjust the brightening and smoothing effects on their skin.
- Set the camera to shooting mode.
- Touch the REC Mode icon (
, 
, 
or 
) - (Beauty Effect).
To change the settings
Touch 
- desired mode.
After changing the settings, touch [OK].
(Skin Toning):
Adjusts the brightening effects on the skin.
(Skin Smoothing):
Adjusts the smoothing effects on the skin.

Returns to the default settings.
Note
- You cannot shoot movies in the Beauty Effect mode. To shoot movies, touch the REC Mode icon (, , or ) and change to a different shooting mode.
- When the REC Mode is “Picture Effect” or “Scene Selection”, the selected mode icon of them is displayed as the REC Mode icon.
