Activating the language study for music

From the Home menu, select [Settings] [Music Settings] [Karaoke/Language Study] desired setting type.

Type	Description
[Off]	Disables the karaoke and language study function.
[Language Study]	Activates the language study function, allowing you to use the [Quick Replay] function and the A-B repeat function.
[Maximum Karaoke Mode]	Activates the karaoke function [Details].
[Minimum Karaoke Mode]	Activates the karaoke function [Details].

Note

When [Karaoke/Language Study] is set to [Language Study], the / buttons work for the language study function; you cannot use the album scroll function [Details].

Activating the language study for audio podcast

From the Home menu, select [Settings] [Podcast Settings] [Podcast Language Study] desired setting type.

Type	Description
[On]	Activates the [Podcast Language Study], allowing you to use the [Quick Replay] function and the A-B repeat function.
[Off]	Disables the [Podcast Language Study].

Operations while activating the language study function

To rewind slightly [Quick Replay]

You can rewind about 3 seconds to listen to part of an audio file again.

Press the button during playback on the playback screen.

Hint

When point A (starting point of A-B repeat) is set, if you press the button within 3 seconds of point A, playback returns to point A.

To set a specified section repeatedly (A-B Repeat)

You can set a specified section (from point A to point B) on an audio file, and play back this section repeatedly.

Press the button to specify the starting point of A-B repeat.

Press the button to specify the ending point of A-B repeat.

Note

Allow for an interval of at least 1 second between point A and B. If you press the button within 1 second from point A, you cannot set point B.

When point B (ending point of A-B repeat) is not set, the section from point A to the end of the audio file is played back repeatedly.

A-B repeat operations

During A-B repeat, you can pause, resume playback, fast forward, fast rewind and [Quick Replay] as usual [Details]. In addition to that, you can perform the following operations.

Proceed to point B and exit A-B repeat	Press the button.
Exit A-B repeat	Press the button.
