A Bluetooth connection cannot be established.

    The Bluetooth device to connect with is not turned on.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth device, and make sure the Bluetooth function is activated.

    Registering (pairing) the Bluetooth device failed or was not completed.
  • Your “WALKMAN” cannot connect with devices that are not registered (paired). Register (pair) the Bluetooth device(s). [Details]

    Your “WALKMAN” or the Bluetooth device to connect with was is in sleep mode.
  • Exit from sleep mode.

    The remaining battery power is low or depleted.
  • Charge the battery by means such as connecting your “WALKMAN” to a running computer. [Details]

    The registration (pairing) information on your “WALKMAN” or the Bluetooth device to connect with has been deleted as a result of initializing settings, formatting memory, etc.
  • Register (pair) your “WALKMAN” and the Bluetooth device to connect with again. [Details]

    The Bluetooth audio device profile does not support A2DP.
  • Make sure the Bluetooth audio device profile supports A2DP.
