About battery life
By adjusting the settings or managing the power supply properly, you can save the battery power for longer usage time between charges.
The following hints will yield a longer battery life.
Turning off your “WALKMAN” manually
If you press and hold the 
button, after [POWER OFF] appears, the screen disappears and your Walkman is turned off. The Walkman consumes battery power very slightly in this status.

The following settings are effective for extending the battery life of your Walkman.

Set [Power Save Mode] to [Save ON Super].

Set [Equalizer] to [None].

Deactivate [BASS].

Set [LED] to [LED OFF].

Set [Voice Record Codec] to [Low].

Adjusting the data format and bit rate
Playing time will vary, as battery charge can be affected by the format and bit rate of songs that are played.
