Turn the volume up.

The headphone plug is not connected properly.

If the headphones are connected improperly, the sound from the headphones will be impaired. Insert the headphone plug until it clicks into place [Details].

The headphone plug is dirty.

Clean the headphone plug with a soft dry cloth.

No audio files are stored in the memory.

If [NO DATA] appears, transfer music from the computer.

If the problem still persists even after you perform the procedures above, press the RESET button of your Walkman [Details].

Delete the data, then import and transfer it again. When importing data to your computer, close any other applications to avoid data damage.
