If you press the button immediately after turning off your Walkman, the Walkman does not start due to the shutting down process. Wait for a few seconds, then turn on the power.

There is not enough free space in the built-in memory.

If the problem still persists even after you perform the procedures above, press the RESET button of your Walkman [Details] and reconnect it to the computer.

If the battery is already almost fully charged when charging begins, little time is needed to reach full charge.
