Shooting mode functions

You can select the shooting mode based on condition and objective.

(Intelligent Auto)
Allows you to shoot still images with the setting adjusted automatically. [Details]
(Superior Auto)
Allows you to shoot still images in higher quality than with Intelligent Auto mode. [Details]
(Movie Mode)
Allows you to record movies. [Details]
(Program Auto)
Allows you to shoot with the exposure adjusted automatically (both the shutter speed and the aperture value).
Also you can select various settings using the menu. [Details]
(Panorama Shooting Scene)
Allows you to create a panoramic image from composite images. [Details]
(Underwater iSweep Panorama)
Allows you to shoot panoramic images under-water. [Details]
(Background Defocus)
Allows you to shoot an image with background defocus and define the subject. [Details]
(Picture Effect)
Allows you to shoot a still image with an original texture according to the desired effect. [Details]
(Scene Selection)
Allows you to shoot with preset settings according to the scene. [Details]
(3D Shooting)
Allows you to shoot 3D images by composing images. [Details]
(3D Sweep Panorama)
Allows you to shoot multiple images while the camera is moving; these images are compiled into a 3D image. [Details]
(Sweep Multi Angle)
Allows you to shoot multiple images while the camera is moving; these images are compiled into a stereoscopic image. [Details]
