Noise is generated.

  • A mobile phone or other device emitting radio signals is being used nearby.

  • When using devices such as mobile phones, keep them away from your Walkman.

  • Songs imported from CDs, etc. are damaged.

  • Connect your Walkman to a computer, and use the software you used to transfer the songs or the Windows Explorer to delete the damaged songs. Then import songs from CDs, etc., and transfer them again. When importing data to your computer, close any other applications to avoid data damage.

  • Transferred files are not in a format that can be played on your Walkman.
