Using your camcorder abroad
Power supply
You can use your camcorder in any countries/regions using the AC Adaptor supplied with your camcorder within the AC 100 V to 240 V, 50 Hz/60 Hz range.
Viewing on TV
In countries/regions where 1080/50i (HDR-GW66E/ GW66VE/ GWP88E/ GWP88VE) or 1080/60i (HDR-GW66V/ GWP88/ GWP88V) is supported, you can view the movies with the same high definition image quality (HD) as that of the recorded movies. You must use a PAL-system (HDR-GW66E/ GW66VE/ GWP88E/ GWP88VE) or NTSC-system (HDR-GW66V/ GWP88/ GWP88V) TV (or monitor) equipped with an HDMI jack. An HDMI cable must be connected.

Setting to the local time
You can easily set the clock to the local time by setting a time difference when using your camcorder abroad. Select
