Updating the firmware using a Windows computer

You can update the firmware of your Walkman. Installing the latest firmware can add new features to the Walkman. For details on the latest firmware information and how to install it, visit the customer support Web sites [Details].

  1. Download the update program to your computer from the Web site.

  1. Connect your Walkman to your computer, and then start the update program.

  1. Follow the on-screen instructions to update firmware of your Walkman.

Firmware update is complete.

Updating the firmware using a Mac computer

Consult your nearest service center. Refer to the “Customer support Web site.”
Hint

  • Version information for firmware of your Walkman can be displayed by selecting [Settings] [Common Settings] [Unit Information] from the Home menu [Details].
