What you can do using the Wi-Fi function

The Wi-Fi function of your camcorder allows you to do the following operations.

Transferring movies to your smartphone or tablet

Prepare your smartphone or tablet.

Operating the camcorder with your smartphone or tablet

Prepare your smartphone or tablet.
Notes

  • You cannot save recorded files on your computer or transfer audio files to your smartphone or tablet using the Wi-Fi function of your camcorder.

  • You cannot use the Wi-Fi function of your camcorder to connect to a public wireless network.

  • Wi-Fi functions introduced in this User Guide are not guaranteed to work on all smartphones or tablets.

  • The information on supported OS versions is as of September 1, 2013.
