In the default setting, the camcorder turns itself off when no operations are performed for about 5 minutes ([Power Save]). Change the setting of [Power Save], or turn on the power again. [Details]

When using an AC Adaptor (sold separately), connect the plug to the wall outlet (wall socket) properly.

Connect the USB cable (supplied) properly when charging the battery pack using a computer.

When the battery is being charged using the USB cable (supplied), disconnect the USB cable (supplied) and connect it again.

If the temperature of the battery pack is too high or too low, you may not be able to charge it. [Details]

Attach the battery pack to the camcorder correctly. If the problem persists, disconnect the plug from the camcorder and contact your Sony dealer. The battery pack may be damaged. [Details]
