REC Mode
You can select your desired image quality for movies. The recording time or the type of media device to which the images can be copied may differ, depending on the movie quality selected.

Descriptions of menu items
When [File Format] is set to [
XAVC S 4K], [60Mbps 
] or [100Mbps 
] can be selected.
When [File Format] is set to [
XAVC S HD], [50Mbps 
] is fixed for [REC Mode].
When [File Format] is set to [
AVCHD]:
- Highest Quality
: - Records a movie in the highest quality possible for this product (when in 60i (*)/50i (**)/24p (*)/25p (**)).
- High Quality
: - Records a higher quality movie (when in 60i (*)/50i (**)/24p (*)/25p (**)).
- Standard
: - Records a standard quality movie (when in 60i (*)/50i (**)).
- Long Time
: - Records a long movie (when in 60i (*)/50i (**)).
- 60p Quality
(*)/50p Quality (**) - Records a movie in 60p (*)/50p (**).

Note
- You can select XAVC S 4K and 100 Mbps at the same time when using software version 3.00 or later on FDR-AX100/FDR-AX100E. To confirm the software version, select - [Setup] - [
General Settings] - [Version]. (The [Version] menu item will be displayed with software version 2.00 or later.)
