Text

Delivers text information that includes programme related items such as subtitles. All content is provided by broadcasters and varies accordingly.


The Text feature offers a range of text and text-based graphic information, including national news, weather information and TV schedules. You can choose interesting pieces of information from among several pages by entering digit numbers. Interactive service is only available if provided by a broadcaster.



  1. Page Number Entry

    Jumps directly to a page by selecting page number on the screen or enter the page number directly.

  2. Page-catch Cursor

    Select a new text page with the cursor by pressing .

  3. Fastext

    Access the desired pages quickly by pressing the corresponding coloured button if it is available.

  • Holds a page by pressing .
  • Reveals hidden information (often used for quiz pages) by pressing .

Digital Text (Digital Text Model Only)

Digital Text offers graphically-richer-content. It presents smooth graphics and images, having page links and an easy-to-use navigation method. The service is supported by many broadcasters. Select a digital channel that provides Digital Text, then press .

Interactive Application

Interactive Application is a text-based interactive service for terrestrial broadcasts that offers high quality digital text and graphics along with advanced options. The service is supported by broadcasters. Select a digital channel that provides interactive application, then press the coloured buttons.
