Disc
- No sound or sound is not correctly output when using a Home Theatre System.
- The disc does not play.
- The player does not respond to any button.
- The HD Audio (Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio, and DTS-HD Master Audio) is not output in bitstream format.
- No sound or sound is not correctly output when using a Home Theatre System.

- Switch the input selector on your AV amplifier (receiver) so that the audio signals of the TV are output from your AV amplifier (receiver).
- If the audio signal is not output as multi-channel audio, check “Speakers” and “Optical Out” in the “Sound” settings. “Audio System” from “Speakers” and “Auto” from “Optical Out” must be selected to output multi-channel audio.
- The disc does not play.

- The disc is dirty or skewed.
- The disc is inserted the wrong way. Insert the disc with the playback side facing back.
- The disc has a format that cannot be played by the TV.
- The TV cannot play a recorded disc that is not correctly finalised.
- The region code on the BD or DVD does not match the TV.
- Erase the data in the local memory or USB device if a message appears indicating that local storage does not have enough space.
- To erase the data in the internal memory or a USB device, select “Erase BD Data” from the “Video” category in the “XMB”, and then select “Delete”. If the USB device is used for local storage, all data stored in the buda, budb folder will be erased.
- The player does not respond to any button.

- Disconnect and then reconnect the AC power cord (Mains lead).
- The HD Audio (Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD High Resolution Audio, and DTS-HD Master Audio) is not output in bitstream format.

- Bitstream output for HD Audio is not supported by this TV model.
- The message “Updated software for the built-in Blu-ray disc player is available. Please update the software using Network Update in Blu-ray Disc Player Settings.” appears.

- Select “Network Update” in “Blu-ray Disc Player” to update software via the network.
- You cannot remove the disc, even after you press .

- Try the following:
- - Switch the display to TV mode. (View a TV programme.)
- - Press while pressing down on the TV.
- - After the disc is ejected, turn the TV off and disconnect the AC power cord (Mains lead).
- - Reconnect the AC power cord (Mains lead), and turn the TV on again.
- Playback does not start from the resume point where playback was last stopped.

- The resume point may be cleared from memory when you eject the disc, depending on the disc type.
- “E2000” appears on the screen.

- Contact your nearest Sony dealer or local authorised Sony service facility and provide the error code.
