Adding a track mark
You can add a track mark at a point at which you would like to divide a file later or locate during playback. You can add a maximum of 98 track marks to each file.
- In the recording, playback stop, or playback mode, select OPTION - “Add Track Mark,” and then press
.
“Added” appears on the display, and a track mark is added.

” appears in the recording or playback window.
Note
- You cannot add track marks to a protected file. To add track marks to the file, release the protection first, and then add the track marks.
- You cannot add track marks to music files or podcast files.

- To locate a track mark and start playback at the track mark, press
or 
in the playback stop or playback mode. In the playback stop mode, when the (Track mark) indicator flashes once, press . - You can add track marks when the IC recorder is in the transcription playback mode.
