Noise from the recording environment other than the human voice is recorded.

If you set “Clear Voice” in the menu to “Clear Voice 1” or “Clear Voice 2,” the IC recorder reduces the extraneous noise, such as mechanical noise from projectors or air-conditioners.

This function reduces noise in the entire bandwidth, therefore the IC recorder is able to play back the human voice clearly.

However, when playing back files using the built-in speaker, or when playing back music files or podcast files, the Clear Voice function does not work.
