Emphasizing the stereo effect when recording (Stereo Emphasis)
You can emphasize the stereo effect for recording by using the “Stereo Emphasis” function.
- Select BACK/HOME - “ Settings” - “Recording Settings” - “Stereo Emphasis,” and then press .
- Press or to select “Light(SE1)” or “Strong(SE2),” and then press .
- Press and hold BACK/HOME to return to the HOME menu.
Descriptions of menu items
You can select one of the menu items available.
- OFF:
- Cancels the “Stereo Emphasis” function.
(Initial setting)
- Light(SE1):
- Slightly emphasizes the stereo effect when recording.
- Strong(SE2):
- Emphasizes the stereo effect stronger than “Light(SE1)” when recording.
Note
- When the “REC Mode” menu is set to “MP3 48kbps(MONO),” the “Stereo Emphasis” function does not work.
- If you set “Stereo Emphasis” when “Scene Select” is set to other than “OFF,” the “Scene Select” setting will be canceled.
