- In the stop or recording mode, select MENU - the tab - “Recording Filter,” and then press .
- Press or to select “NCF(Noise Cut)” or “LCF(Low Cut),” and then press .
- Press STOP to exit the menu mode.
Descriptions of menu items
You can select one of the menu items available.
NCF(Noise Cut):
In addition to low frequency sounds, the IC recorder cuts the noise of high frequency sounds outside the normal audio range.
LCF(Low Cut):
The IC recorder cuts low frequency noise such as projector machine sound or roaring noise from the wind, etc.
OFF:
Cancels the recording filter function.

Note
- When the “Select Input” menu is set to “Audio IN” or when the IC recorder is recording an FM radio broadcast (ICD-UX533F/UX534F only), the recording filter function does not work.
- You cannot set the recording filter when “Scene Select” in the menu has been set. Set “Scene Select” to “OFF” before setting “Recording Filter.”
Hint
- Select “OFF” in step 2 to cancel the recording filter function (“OFF” is the initial setting).
