If you set “Noise Cut” in the menu to “Auto,” “Maximum,” or “Medium,” the IC recorder reduces the extraneous noise, such as mechanical noise from projectors or air-conditioners.

This function reduces noise in the entire bandwidth, therefore the IC recorder is able to play back the human voice clearly.
