List of focus range finder frames
The focus range finder frame differs as follows depending on the shooting mode.
When using contrast AF or focal plane phase detection AF mode
When using focal plane phase detection AF mode
- When [Focus Area] is set to [Wide] or [Zone], and if you aim at a moving subject, the focus range finder frame may be displayed as above.
When focus is achieved automatically based on the whole range of the monitor
- When [AF Illuminator] is set to [Auto], and [Focus Area] is set to [Wide] or [Zone], an AF range finder frame may be shown by the dotted line.
- When you use a zoom function other than the optical zoom, the [Focus Area] setting is disabled and the focus area frame is shown by the dotted line. The AF operates with priority on and around the center area.
