Formatting the memory (FORMAT)

You can format the built-in memory, erasing all the data in the memory and resetting the folder structure to its default status.

Note

  • If you format the built-in memory, all data stored there will be erased. (Protected files and the Help Guide will also be erased.) Note that once the files are erased, you cannot retrieve them.
  1. In the stop mode, press MENU to enter the menu mode.
  2. Press souni_cue_fr or souni_cue_ff to select “FORMAT,” and then press souni_playPLAY/ENTER.

  3. Press souni_cue_fr or souni_cue_ff to select “YES,” and then press souni_playPLAY/ENTER.

    “ACCESS” appears and the built-in memory will be formatted.

  4. Press souni_stop(stop) to exit the menu mode.

Hint

  • To cancel formatting the built-in memory, select “NO” in step 3.
