Illumination LED meanings

The illumination LED can turn off, light, blink, and light momentarily. It can turn white, light blue, green and red.

Turns off

PCS is turned off.

Blinks (white)

PCS is starting up or shutting down.

Lights (white)

PCS is turned on.

Dimly lights (white)

PCS Manager is not connected to PCS.

Dimly blinks (white)

PCS Manager is not connected to PCS and PCS is performing a process. (*)

Lights (light blue)

PCS Manager is connected to PCS.

Blinks (light blue)

PCS Manager is connected to PCS and PCS is performing a process. (*)

Or, PCS is performing a WPS connection process (see "Illumination LED meanings (During WPS connection)" below).

Lights momentarily (light blue)

PCS is touched at the N-Mark by an NFC-enabled device.

Lights (green)

PCS is displaying a slideshow/image on a TV connected via HDMI.

You can also view the status on the PCS Manager screen.

Lights (red)

The available free space of the internal hard disk drive of PCS is below 5%.

The capacity information is displayed on the PCS Manager screen.

Blinks (red)

An error has occurred.

* The process performed is displayed on the PCS Manager screen (image copy, image deletion, file format conversion, system software update, and formatting of the internal hard disk drive).

Illumination LED meanings (During WPS connection)

Blinks (light blue)

PCS is trying to connect to a wireless LAN router in WPS mode.

Lights (light blue) momentarily

PCS has successfully connected to a wireless LAN router using the WPS protocol.

Blinks (light blue) two times and turn off for two seconds (cycle repeats)

PCS has found no wireless LAN router. Your wireless LAN router may be too far away from PCS. Or, your wireless LAN router may not be in WPS mode.

Blinks (light blue) four times and turn off for two seconds (cycle repeats)

PCS has found two or more wireless LAN routers in WPS mode.

Blinks (light blue) five times and turn off for two seconds (cycle repeats)

PCS has found a wireless LAN router in WPS mode and tried for 2 minutes to communicate with it, but it has not responded to requests. Your wireless LAN router may be too far away from PCS. Or, your wireless LAN router may be currently processing WPS connection with another device.

Blinks (light blue) six times and turn off for two seconds (cycle repeats)

The setup information sent from the wireless LAN router is incorrect. Data may have been corrupted during communication. Or, PCS may not support the authentication method specified in the setup information.

Blinks (light blue) seven times and turn off for two seconds (cycle repeats)

The setup is successfully completed but PCS cannot establish a connection. Your wireless LAN router may be too far away from PCS. Or, the setting may have been changed.
