In the event of a problems

Before ordering repair, check the topics under "Troubleshooting" and inspect PCS.

If the approaches described in the troubleshooting topics fail to resolve the issue, contact your Sony dealer or local authorized Sony service facility.

  • Back up data stored in the internal hard disk drive of PCS before ordering repair. Depending on the problem, the internal hard disk drive may require to be formatted or replaced with a new one, resulting in erasure of all data in the drive. Sony shall not be liable for any loss of data during repair.
  • During repair, a minimum amount of data stored in the internal hard disk drive may be checked to investigate a problem. However, your Sony dealer will neither copy nor retain your data.
