Viewing images on a TV

By Connecting using an HDMI cable, you can view images on the TV. Use PCS Manager to operate the screen.

When viewing images on a TV via DLNA, see "Viewing images with DLNA certified devices."

  1. Tap the Photo or Video View screen to display the control panel.
  2. Tap the (HDMI output control) icon.

Images from PCS are output to the TV. The control screen appears on PCS Manager.

The illumination LED of PCS stays lit (green).

Hint

  • To stop TV output, tap the (HDMI output control) icon in the control panel once more.
  • If the TV image is distorted, disconnect the HDMI cable once, then reconnect it.
  • If the frame rate of the TV differs from the frame rate of PCS set in HDMI setting, images are not displayed on the TV. Check the setting referring to HDMI settings.
  • If the video has been recorded using a camera purchased in a different country/region, the frame rate used for recording might be different from that of the TV. If the frame rate of the video to be played back is different from that of the HDMI output setting of PCS, the played back image may not be smooth and may jump.

  • This function cannot be used when you have signed in to PCS in "Read-Only Access" mode.
