Wireless LAN connection between PCS and smartphone/tablet cannot be established.

  • Make sure that PCS and the device being used are turned on. Also make sure that the wireless function of the device is enabled.
  • Wireless communication range may be reduced depending on the environment, such as obstacles between PCS and the device, electromagnetic interference and wall material. Change the install location of PCS, or move PCS close to the device. If the issue is not resolved, press the RESET switch to restart PCS or reset PCS.
  • PCS and the device may be installed too far apart. Move PCS closer to the device.
  • An error might have happened on the network used by PCS and the device. Contact the network administrator.
  • More than five devices, such as a smartphone/tablet, might be connected to PCS.
  • Equipment that uses the 2.4 GHz band (such as a microwave oven and Bluetooth devices) may be working near PCS. Move PCS away from such equipment, or turn the equipment off.
  • If PCS has already been connected to another wireless LAN router using the WPS button, press the RESET switch to cancel the connection, then try again.
