You can change the device name displayed on the device selection screen when signing in. MyPCS is set by default.
- On the List screen, tap
(*) or 
- [Settings] - [Information] - [Device Name].
* The [
] icon is not displayed on the screen of some Android devices. If the [] icon is not displayed on your screen, press the main menu button located outside of the screen. - Enter a new device name.
A device name must consist of alphanumeric characters, underscore ("_") and hyphen ("-"). The maximum length is 20 characters.
- Tap [OK] or [Complete].
Hint
- The device name is changed back to MyPCS when PCS is reset by the RESET switch.
- This device name is displayed also for when using DLNA.
Note
- This function cannot be used when you have signed in to PCS in "Read-Only Access" mode.
