You can format a USB hard disk drive connected to PCS.
- In the List screen of PCS Manager, tap

- [Settings].
* The [
] icon is not displayed on the screen of some Android devices. If the [] icon is not displayed on your screen, press the main menu button located outside of the screen. - Tap [Backup and Restore].
- Tap [Format USB external HDD] or [Start Format].
- Tap [OK].
(On iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, a message is further displayed. In this case, tap [Start].)
Note
- All data stored in the USB hard disk drive will be deleted. Make sure that any important data in the USB hard disk drive has been copied to other storage.
