Wi-Fi Direct mode

If your smartphone supports 5 GHz for Wi-Fi connection, do the following:

1. In PCS Manager, select [Settings] - [Wireless LAN] - [Wi-Fi Direct Mode].
2. In the [Wireless band] field, select 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz as required, then tap [Set] or [Connect], depending on your device's screen.

Internet Connection mode

To use 5 GHz in Internet Connection mode, do the following:

1. In PCS Manager, select [Settings] - [Wireless LAN] - [Internet Connection].
2. Tap the SSID that supports 5 GHz, then enter its password.
3. On the Home screen of your smartphone, tap the Settings icon, select [Wi-Fi] and connect to a wireless LAN router that supports 5 GHz.
4. Start PCS Manager again and access PCS.

• If you want to use 5 GHz, make sure your wireless LAN router supports that frequency band and all settings are correct. For details about settings, contact the manufacturer of your wireless LAN router.
