Connect from Among the Search Results

Establish a mobile device and a device that you want to connect via Wi-Fi.

Note

  • Be sure to connect your mobile device to the CBK-WA100/101 Wireless Adapter (hereafter referred to as the "wireless adapter,") or a device supported by this application (hereafter called a "compatible device,") via a Wi-Fi connection beforehand. If the WIRELESS switch on a wireless adapter (or a compatible device) is set to "AP," (access point mode,) connect your mobile device to the wireless adapter (or the compatible device.) If the switch is set to "ST," (station mode,) connect your mobile device to the same access point as the wireless adapter (or the compatible device.)
  • Step4 may not be required depending on connected devices or types of connections.
  1. Tap [Connect] in (Menu).
  2. Tap [Search].
    Wireless adapters or compatible devices that are connected via Wi-Fi will be searched.
  3. Tap a wireless adapter or a compatible device to connect from among the search results.
  4. Enter a [user name] and [password] for both [Wireless Adapter] and [Device] in the respective fields.

    When authentication is successful, the connection is established.

    The connected device’s model name, SSID, and IP address appear on the screen.

  5. (Android only) If you have connected your mobile device to wireless adapters or compatible devices before, the registered ones appear in the list. Choose and tap one from the list. Tap [Connect].
    The connection between your mobile device and the wireless adapter or compatible device is established.

Hint

  • Once connected by performing the step above, wireless adapters and/or compatible devices are registered. Since registered ones will appear in the list from the second attempt, just tap one in the list to connect.
