Using the Live Logging Function

  1. Tap [Monitoring] in (Menu).
  2. Tap the button on the action bar to display the remote control panel.
  3. Tap [Camera] or [Playback].
  4. Tap the button to start recording.
  5. Tap [Marks].
  6. Tap at the scene that you want to add an essence mark to.

    An essence mark with the tapped button name is added to the frame where the button is tapped.

    Repeat this step.

  7. Change to [Camera] or [Playback], then tap the button to stop recording.
    The live logging operation is finished.

Note

  • You can add up to 126 essence marks.
  • You can add essence marks only while making a recording. If you are not making any recordings, no essence marks can be added even if you tap .
  • The added essence marks will be able to be copied to the proxy clip after a wireless adapter firmware update. For details, consult Sony’s support center.
