Connecting to and accessing this unit (Windows)

  1. Insert a memory card into this unit.
  2. Connect this unit and a computer with the supplied USB cable.

    Note the different plugs on both ends of the USB cable and connect the proper plug to each port.

  3. Open [Computer] on the computer.
  4. Confirm that the icon of a newly recognized [Removable disk (E:)*] is displayed.

    The drive name (E:) may vary, depending on the computer you use.

  5. Access folders and files in this unit by clicking [Removable disk (E:)*].

Note

  • If the disc icon is not displayed when this unit is connected to the USB port of the computer, disconnect this unit from the computer and then reconnect it following the above procedure.
  • When this unit is connected to the computer with the USB cable, if the battery pack of this unit is not fully charged, charging will automatically start and the battery indicator lamp will light orange.
  • The wireless LAN function cannot be used while the unit is connected to a computer with the USB cable.
  • Note that the wireless LAN connection stops if this unit is connected to the computer via USB when this unit is turned on.
  • If the unit temperature increases while charging, the battery indicator lamp may flash orange and charging may stop.
  • A USB device connected to the unit cannot be used while the unit is connected to a computer with the USB cable. A memory card can be used.
  • It is not necessary to turn on this unit when connecting it to the computer.
